Car show season in The Villages starts in the fall and runs into spring, and November 2026 has five club nights on the calendar in the first three weeks. If you own a car you love, or just like walking past rows of polished chrome on a weeknight, this is one of the easiest pieces of the lifestyle to try before you buy. Here is what is scheduled, how it works, and what changed.

Are there car shows in The Villages?

Yes. As of November 2026, The Villages Entertainment lists five club car shows from November 2 to 20, each 5 to 8 p.m., on Monday and Friday evenings at Lake Sumter Landing Market Square and Brownwood Paddock Square, with no ticket listed. A different car club hosts each night. The Spanish Springs Cruise-In has no 2026 dates posted.

The short version

  • Five club car shows are listed for November 2026: November 2, 9, 13, 16 and 20, all 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Monday and Friday shows alternate between Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood Paddock Square, in a season the 2025 club application describes as October through April.
  • Each night features one club, such as the Mercedes Enthusiast Club, the Convertible Club or the Central Florida Classic Thunderbirds.
  • The monthly Spanish Springs Cruise-In for cars 30 years or older shows no dates after March 2025 on the official listing page.
  • Clubs apply for a show date through an online form; space is not guaranteed.

What car shows are in The Villages in November 2026?

The Villages Entertainment car shows page lists five evenings for November 2026: Monday November 2 and Friday November 13 and 20 at Lake Sumter Landing Market Square, and Monday November 9 and 16 at Brownwood Paddock Square. Every show runs 5 to 8 p.m., and each one features a single car club.

The listing describes each night the same way: cars, music and drinks on the square during the regular evening entertainment. The table below is the schedule exactly as posted when this article was written.

The listed addresses are 1020 Lake Sumter Landing (ZIP 32162) and 2726 Brownwood Boulevard (ZIP 32163). Two of the Brownwood nights carry a sponsor name on the listing. After November 20 the page shows no further shows and asks visitors to check back, so December dates had not been posted as of November 1.

One small conflict to know about: a third-party event calendar credits the November 2 show to a Corvette club, while the official listing names the Mercedes club. Go by the official page, and expect lineups to shift.

How do the Monday and Friday night car shows work?

The club nights are short, low-key evening shows. One car club parks its members' cars on the square, the regular evening music plays, and anyone walking the square can look. The 2025 application describes the series as Monday and Friday nights from October through April, alternating between Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood Paddock Square.

There is no ticket on the listing and no entry fee for spectators shown. You simply walk the square. Because the shows sit inside the normal nightly entertainment window, you can pair one with dinner or the band.

A few practical points:

  • Which square. In November 2026, Mondays alternate between the two squares and both Friday shows are at Lake Sumter Landing. Read the location line for each date rather than assuming a pattern.
  • What you will see. The listing names the club, not the cars. A Thunderbird night and a BMW-Z night are very different evenings, so pick by club if you have a favorite.
  • Getting there. Our golf cart living guide explains how residents get around by cart, and the town squares guide covers the music hours and restaurants on each square.
  • Season. The October to April window comes from the 2025 application page. The 2026 version of that page was not found, so treat the season length as a pattern, not a promise.

What happened to the Spanish Springs Cruise-In?

The Cruise-In was a monthly classic car show at Spanish Springs Town Square for vehicles 30 years or older, and it celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2022. The official listing page shows dates through March 2025 and then nothing. No 2026 date was found on any official page, so its current status is unconfirmed.

For many years the Cruise-In was the big one. The developer's 2022 anniversary article described it as a monthly show open to residents and visitors alike, with live music and food trucks, running 4 to 9 p.m. on the square.

Its last posted dates on The Villages Entertainment were December 21, 2024 and January, February and March 2025. Sources disagree on the day: two May 2025 enthusiast articles on Ford's site described it as the second Saturday of the month, while the listing's February and March 2025 dates fall on Sundays. After March 2025 the page reads that no event is found.

If it returns, these were the posted rules, worth knowing before you bring a car:

  • Model year 30 years or older; residents and non-residents welcome; no fee to show or to attend.
  • Featured club parked first, at 2:45 p.m. Residents could enter from 3 to 4 p.m. or until the first 150 registration forms were gone; the public entered after that. Registration closed at 6 p.m.
  • Once parked, cars stayed until the show ended. No trailers or vehicles over 25 feet, no revving or burnouts, and For Sale signs only in back seats.
  • Spectators voted by ballot until 7:15 p.m., with trophies and a 50/50 drawing announced at the gazebo at 8 p.m. A car could win only once every three months.

What is the Car Club Showcase at Brownwood?

The Car Club Showcase is a larger special event at Brownwood Paddock Square where several clubs show at once. On the posted showcase pages, featured clubs entered at 4 p.m., each took one section of the square with up to 24 cars, and a band played from 5 to 9 p.m. No 2026 showcase date was found.

The showcase pages on The Villages Entertainment list eight featured clubs for one edition: the Heart of Florida Model A Restorers Club, The Villages Leisure Time Corvette Club, King of the Road, Tin Lizzies of North Central Florida, The Villages Motor Racing Club, the Porsche Club of The Villages, the British Motoring Club, and the Central Florida Classic Thunderbirds (the 1955 to 1957 cars).

Another showcase page tied the event to the 2025 All American Celebration at Brownwood, with eight clubs and food vendors. None of the showcase pages read for this post carried a 2026 date, so watch the special events listings rather than planning around a month.

Separately, the Daily Sun has presented a new car dealer show, the Wheels Auto Showcase, at Lake Sumter Landing; its listing gave November 8, 2025. That is a showroom on the square, not a collector show, and no 2026 edition was posted when this article was written.

Which car clubs are active in The Villages?

Club names on the official 2026 listings include the Mercedes Enthusiast Club, the Convertible Club, the Classic Automobile Club, the BMW-Z Club and the Central Florida Classic Thunderbirds. Showcase pages add Corvette, Porsche, British, Model A, Tin Lizzie and motor racing clubs. Most clubs post their own membership rules and schedules.

Two clubs publish enough on their own websites to describe here.

The Villages Classic Automobile Club. Its site defines a classic as 30 years old or more and welcomes every make, model and condition, from concours restorations to daily drivers, resto-mods, kit cars and projects still in progress. Membership is limited to Villages residents. Members show at the car nights on the squares, and the club lists drive-and-dine outings and community support among its activities. Dues and meeting details were not shown on the public page.

The Villages British Motoring Club. Its site says it was founded in spring 2020 and lists 60 members and 80 cars. Its stated goals are practical: share fixes for British cars, hold tech sessions, keep the cars on the road, and enjoy club drives and dinners. In November 2022 it hosted an all-British car show at Lake Sumter Landing, its first.

How can a club or a resident show a car in The Villages?

Clubs request a date through The Villages Entertainment's car club application, listing the number of cars and two preferred months; accepted clubs get a confirmation email and space is not guaranteed. An individual owner usually shows by joining a club that has a date, or at a public show such as the Cruise-In when it runs.

The 2025 application, the latest posted, asks for the group name, a leader's phone and email, a mailing address, how many cars will come and two preferred months. It says the venue receives many requests and cannot place every club, and it includes a release and hold-harmless agreement. Questions go to the Special Events staff; the page footer lists (352) 750-5411.

For a single owner, the simplest route is a club. The Classic Automobile Club, for example, is open to residents with a car 30 years or older and shows on the square nights.

Outside The Villages, the same club says it hosts a monthly show at the Market of Marion in Belleview that is open to everyone. The dates do not line up across sources: one event calendar lists the fourth Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. including November 28, 2026, while the club text on that listing says no show in July, August, November or December, and an older listing showed a $5 fee and a noon finish. Check with the club before you load up the car.

The local take

I was born and raised in Marion County, and I represent buyers independently. Car people ask me different questions than golfers do, and the answers change which home makes sense.

The garage is the amenity. A collector car, a daily driver and a golf cart all want a roof. Home types in The Villages range from villas to larger designer and premier homes, and garage layouts vary with them. Our home types guide lays out the differences. For any home on your shortlist, I would measure the garage depth and door height yourself, check for an outlet near where the car will sit, and decide where the cart goes before you fall for the kitchen.

Read the deed restrictions for that address. If there are rules on how vehicles may be parked, stored or worked on, they will be in the restrictions that apply to that home. Ask for them early, read any vehicle sections, and send any legal question to a Florida real estate attorney.

Count the ride to the shows. In November 2026 every club night is at Lake Sumter Landing or Brownwood. If car nights matter to you, time the drive or cart ride from the home to those squares on a weeknight evening, the same way you would time the trip to your doctor or grocery store. I am glad to map those routes for any home you are considering.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to live in The Villages to go to the car shows?

The club night listings show no ticket or residency requirement; the shows take place on public town squares during the regular evening entertainment. The Cruise-In, when it last ran, welcomed residents and non-residents both as spectators and as exhibitors. Club membership is a separate question, and some clubs are limited to residents.

Do the car shows cost anything?

No fee for spectators appears on the November 2026 club night listings. The Spanish Springs Cruise-In page stated it was free to attend and free to show a car. Club dues are set by each club and were not published on the club pages read for this post, so ask the club directly.

What happens if it rains on a car show night?

None of the official pages read for this post publish a weather or cancellation policy for the club nights. Weather can change an outdoor evening quickly, so check The Villages Entertainment listing or the featured club's contact on the day before you head out.

Can I sell my car at a Villages car show?

The Cruise-In rules allowed For Sale signs only in a car's back seat, and once parked, a car could not leave until the show ended. The club night pages do not address sales. Treat a show as a place to be seen, and handle any sale through normal channels.

Where will December 2026 car shows be listed?

The Villages Entertainment car shows page is the official listing. As of November 1, 2026 it showed shows only through November 20 and asked visitors to check back for newly announced dates. The developer's calendar and the special events pages are the other places to watch.
